Get your station moving.

Quick guidance for account, station and broadcast setup.

Create a station

Register, open Studio and choose Create station. Your station, ownership role, runtime record and default stream are created atomically. Anyone can listen to any station without an account.

Create station →

Prepare programming

Media upload, playlists and programming are shown in your station checklist and activate with the first-party media processing service.

Go live from the browser

The BeyoundWaves DJ is free for your first 7 days, then included in the Basic, Pro and Network plans. Open your station in Studio and choose BeyoundWaves DJ. Load tracks into deck A and deck B, blend with the crossfader, and switch your microphone on with the boost you need. Press Go Live and everything that passes the master fader is broadcast, with no software to install. Press Stop (or just close the page) and the station hands back to AutoDJ within a couple of seconds, without interrupting connected listeners.

Open Studio →

Microphone not picking up sound?

In the DJ, the microphone starts off: press the Mic button and watch the bar beside it while you speak. If the bar moves, your voice is going out. If it stays flat, choose the right microphone in the Input dropdown, check your laptop's microphone mute key (many laptops have one, often with a small light), allow the microphone for this site in your browser, and check the input volume in your laptop's sound settings. You will not hear yourself on the same laptop while live: the player mutes itself to stop echo, so listen from a phone to confirm.

Go live with Mixxx or VirtualDJ

Live broadcasting with external software is free on every plan, including Free. Open Studio → your station → Live source and copy the connection details. In Mixxx: Preferences → Live Broadcasting, stream type Icecast, host beyoudwaves.com, port 8000, the mount point, Login (the username shown) and Password (the secret). Broadcast in MP3 at 128 to 192 kbps. Credentials are station-specific and can be reset on the same page if you ever lose them.

AutoDJ, free on every plan

AutoDJ keeps your station on air around the clock by playing your uploaded library in rotation, even when you are not broadcasting live. It is included with every plan, including Free. Upload your music, build playlists, and your station keeps playing. Weekly programming schedules are part of the paid plans.

Plans and payouts

Free includes one station with AutoDJ, open listening for everyone and live broadcasting with Mixxx or other software, supported by intermittent adverts; the browser DJ is free for the first 7 days. Basic keeps the browser DJ after the trial and adds weekly programming and more capacity. Pro and Network raise listener limits and unlock advert monetisation: opt in from your station page and earn the campaign's station share (60% by default), paid out through the secure payout rails.
